Job Description Summary The Office of the Inspector General Manager of Administration reports to the Vice President and Inspector General and the First Deputy Inspector General. The Office of the Inspector General Manager of Administration is responsible for the administrative and finance functions of the Office of the Inspector General. Job Description Responsibilities Include: Formulates Office of the Inspector General administrative policies and procedures. Ensures that each unit within the Office of the Inspector General achieves and maintains budgeted headcount. Serves as a liaison with the Authority's Administrative and Finance Divisions. Responsible for budget creation, preparation and modification; monitors confidential and petty cash expenditures; functions as the chief procurement agent for Office of the Inspector General, ensuring that specialized procurement needs are met. Oversees maintenance, including HVAC and fire suppression systems, other equipment and custodial personnel. Supervises support personnel in the Office of the Inspector General. Supervises the Office of the Inspector General motor pool, including all lease and purchase negotiations, vehicle registration and maintenance. Supervises acquisition and maintenance of security systems at the Inspector General office and off-site locations. Regularly exposed to information regarding personnel actions, operational changes, staffing, reassignments, layoffs, discipline, and discharge of employees. Performs other duties, as assigned. Preferred Education and Experience: Baccalaureate degree and three years of full time supervisory or managerial experience in budget, finance and/or procurement, or a satisfactory combination of education and experience. Civil Service Classification: Exempt Salary Range: $78,947.00 - $110,000.00 POSTING CLOSING DATE: 06/28/2026 Education Baccalaureate Certifications (if required) Work Experience Five years of full time supervisory or managerial experience in budget, human resources and/or procurement or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
