Job Purpose The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for executing the daily tasks assigned by the plant manager.
Essential Functions: Corrugated: Feed Corrugated machine Fold Inserts Package product Wood: Cut wood to length on saw per work orders Assemble skids and crates per work orders General: Move raw materials and finished product with hand trucks or forklift (see forklift note below) Stage raw materials for assembly Package finished goods for shipment Stock completed items in the appropriate place Complete and turn in paperwork including Actual quantity Time sheets Clean up work area (corrugated/wood/General Shop)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High school graduate (or equivalent). Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in operation and maintenance of wood cutting and/or assembly equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude. Able to perform skilled work of moderate difficulty. A high degree of initiative and creativity is required due to the complex nature of the situations/conditions of the position. Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to effectively solve problems, think clearly and positively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations. Meets deadlines and fulfills commitments. Exhibits enthusiasm and an ability to work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate well with co-workers and customers. Exhibits care and strong attention to detail. Current forklift certification or ability to become certified
