Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Jefferson, LA. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment. This opportunity is with a hospital facility in Jefferson, LA.

Minimum Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology. Graduation from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Current state radiologic technologist license for Louisiana. BLS certification. Interventional Radiology experience. Candidates with at least 2 years of IR experience preferred. Scrub experience required. Neuro IR experience preferred but not required. Candidates with 1 year of overall experience must have neuro and scrub experience. Otherwise, minimum of 2 years of experience required. Travel experience required. Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time and participate in unit emergency team assignments as directed by unit management.

Preferred Qualifications

Neuro Interventional Radiology experience. Prior facility-specific emergency team or on-call event experience.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 07:30 - 18:00. Work Pattern: 4x10 schedule. On-call required with a 30-minute response time. Scrub responsibilities expected during procedures. Candidate may be assigned to emergency or relief teams as directed by unit management.
