Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in St. Louis, MO. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and assure quality for imaging equipment, monitor patients during procedures, and assist with a range of vascular and non-vascular IR cases including central venous catheter placements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mapping/treatments, gastrostomy tube placements, percutaneous nephrostomy tubes, and peripheral arterial procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

ARRT (Radiography) required. ARRT (Vascular-Interventional) preferred. BLS certification required. State radiologic technologist license for Missouri required. Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology technologist experience required. 2 years preferred. Experience working in hospital-based interventional radiology suites or procedural areas. Experience with vascular and interventional procedures, catheter equipment, and patient monitoring. Ability to function as backup and participate in scheduled weekend call rotations as required by the unit.

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT(VI) certification. Prior experience with high daily caseloads (approximately 6-8 procedures per tech) and multi-room IR suites (up to 9 rooms). Experience with Y-90 procedures and peripheral arterial interventions.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 07:30 - 18:00 on a 4x10 schedule. Typical schedule includes Monday - Friday coverage with one Saturday 08:00 - 16:00 shift in a 13-week period. Weekend on-call window: Friday 16:00 through Monday 07:30. Assigned on-call approximately 1-2 times during a 13-week assignment. Expect to be scheduled as "backup" periodically; procedural cases may extend beyond scheduled shift end.
