We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Consumer team in our Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CA offices. Our associate position offers a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity-linked transactions. The associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The associate is responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities. A successful candidate will possess the following characteristics: 3+ years of Investment Banking experience and prior work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution Degree in finance, business, management plus other related degrees Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop trust with clients and internal partners Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling Motivated, team player with an interest and ability to learn in an energetic and challenging environment As a leading investment bank, we enable growth and success for our clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice and a differentiated, highly productive culture.
