GSE Dynamics, Inc., a full-service engineering and manufacturing company in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a Composite Technician to support manufacturing operations. This hands-on position requires safe power tool operation, attention to detail, and effective communication to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Read, interpret, and follow work orders, travelers, and production instructions.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and finish composite parts using established aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., drills, sanders, grinders, saws).
  • Follow all safety, quality, and procedural requirements, including PPE usage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding project status or issues.
  • Document materials utilized in creating parts for traceability purposes.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in composite fabrication, aerospace manufacturing, or a related technical role preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and written instructions.
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs
  • Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position

Requirements

U.S. Citizen.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to read and write in English

Salary Range: $20.00 per hour – $25.00 per hour

This is an estimated salary range with any actual compensation offers to be dependent upon factors including experience, skill set, qualifications, and other factors allowed by law.

Job Type: Full-time

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
