To qualify as a Lead Teacher in New York, you must meet 1 of the following areas:
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related)
- CDA credential + 1 year childcare experience
- 9 ECE credits + plan toward CDA/degree + 2 years experience
- Background check clearance
- NYS health + immunization requirements
- OCFS health & safety training
