Baptist Urgent Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing immediate care to patients with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. As an LPN in our busy urgent care environment, you will play a key hands-on role in delivering safe, timely, and patient-centered care to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.

In this role, you will work directly with providers to support examinations, treatments, and procedures while ensuring each patient receives respectful, empathetic, and efficient care. You will obtain and document patient histories and vital signs, assist with triage and patient flow, and perform tasks such as wound care, basic splinting, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and point-of-care testing for common illnesses. You will administer medications as ordered and within your scope of practice and clearly document all care in the electronic medical record.

You will also play a vital part in patient education, explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions in a way that is understandable and reassuring. A strong focus on infection control, safety, and quality standards is essential, as is the ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

At Baptist Urgent Care, you will be part of a caring, community-focused team that values teamwork, integrity, and compassion. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical support staff, contributing to a supportive and collegial environment where everyone works together on behalf of the patient. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in urgent care, broaden your clinical skills, and grow professionally within a supportive and collaborative organization that is committed to high-quality service and patient-centered care.
