The M&A Advisory Analyst will be a critical part of the firm’s M&A Advisory team, reporting directly to the Head of M&A Advisory. Our M&A expertise has been developed over several years and is a growth area for the firm. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing and executing comprehensive M&A mandates, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, strategic reviews, valuation assessments, and fairness opinions.
Financial Analysis: Deliver institutional-grade financial analysis, valuation work, and advanced pro forma financial modeling.
Presentation Materials: Research, draft, and structure client-ready marketing materials, including comprehensive pitchbooks and competitive RFP responses.
Strategic Research: Conduct tailored market screens to identify bolt-on acquisition targets and perform roll-up consolidation studies for clients.
Draft engagement letters, client teasers, and Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs).
Execute financial and transactional due diligence, manage buyer/seller communication, and support senior professionals in reviewing NDAs, LOIs, and definitive purchase agreements.
Industry Insights: Prepare high-level deliverables analyzing macroeconomic and M&A industry trends for executive speaking engagements and firm business planning.
Strong foundational knowledge of corporate finance principles, quantitative analysis, and professional writing skills.
Project Management: Proven ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
Demonstrated history of academic and professional achievement, characterized by strong critical thinking and ethical standards.
Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Databases: Practical proficiency utilizing PitchBook and S&P Capital IQ platforms.
Travel: 20% - 30%.
