Summary

We are seeking an experienced M365 Solutions Architect / SharePoint SME to lead a large-scale modernization initiative focused on migrating SharePoint On-Premises environments to SharePoint Online while helping shape the organization’s broader Microsoft 365 strategy.

This role combines technical architecture, stakeholder consulting, and hands-on solution delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting mindset, deep expertise within the Microsoft ecosystem, and the ability to engage business leaders while translating operational needs into scalable collaboration and workflow solutions.

This is a highly visible opportunity to help modernize workplace collaboration and drive enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft technologies within a critical infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Teams, Loop, and related collaboration tools

  • Lead migration efforts from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online

  • Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, metadata structures, permissions, and governance models

  • Partner with business units to gather, refine, and document requirements for collaboration and workflow solutions

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams

  • Design modern workplace solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience

  • Utilize AI-enabled tools and modern documentation approaches to streamline project delivery and approvals

  • Provide high-level troubleshooting and end-user support for M365 environments and legacy tool modernization efforts

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, operations, and business teams to support enterprise initiatives

  • Stay current on Microsoft platform enhancements and emerging best practices to guide long-term strategy

Requirements

  • Strong experience as an M365 Solutions Architect, SharePoint SME, or similar enterprise collaboration role

  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Teams, and Loop

  • Experience leading SharePoint migration and modernization initiatives

  • Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams

  • Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on technical execution

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate varying business priorities and communication styles

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
