Job Purpose
Operate various simple machine tools to perform assigned tasks and produce quality products for internal and external customers, in a safe and productive manner.
Essential Duties
- Set-up, adjust and operate a variety of simple, basic machine tools, which includes cross hole drill, drill press, laser machine.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Perform minor machine maintenance as required.
- Read and understand operation layouts and blueprints.
- Maintain quality of work as required and report any discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to set-up and operate assigned equipment.
- Ability to perform various operations under minimum supervision, while maintaining required levels of quality and quantity.
- Demonstrated skill and ability to use precision measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of Graco safety rules and practices.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk, for up to eight hours per day.
- Frequent, repetitive elbow movements.
- Reaching, grasping, gripping and fine manipulation with hands is required.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, lift and/or load up to 40 pounds.
Desirable Qualifications
- Completion of Math for Manufacturing and Basic Blueprint Reading for Manufacturing.
- Personal computer skills.
- Prior machine tool operation skills.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
