Machine Operator C at Etnyre International in Carbondale, PA is an onsite production machining role operating lathes, drill presses, mills, grinders, and special-purpose equipment to machine metal parts to specification. You'll set up your own work, follow engineering drawings/sketches, and deliver quality output within company standards. Standout requirement: regular lifting up to 55 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs).

Under moderate supervision, operates a variety of machines such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, or special purpose equipment to machine metal work pieces to specification on a production basis.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Performs a variety of tasks on a variety of machines.
- Works from engineering drawings or rough sketches.
- Sets up own machining work.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leader or supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
A thorough knowledge of machining techniques, materials, tools, equipment, and blueprint reading is required. Ability to read precision measuring tools is also required. Skills may be gained through practical experience and/or specialized training. Prior CNC or Manual Machine experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 75 pounds) will be required.
