Salary
FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $23.66 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your responsibilities:
Reporting to the Supervisor, the machine operator will be responsible for:
- Preparing packaging materials for filling,
- Performing basic packaging inspection to eliminate product contamination,
- Operating filling equipment, connect/disconnect hoses, filling and packaging finished product into small bottles to large totes/bins.
- The job requires safe and efficient use of a fork truck to move pallets between buildings / locations, stack pallets of packaging containers, etc.
- Inside and outside cleanup of buildings and equipment will be also part of this position.
- Training will also include preparing orders for shipping, loading/ offloading trailers, sweeping out trucks, ensuring correct paperwork and records are maintained and communicated on shipments being loaded as well as on containers materials/raw materials unloaded
Qualifications we are looking for:
- At least a high school education or equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift minimum of 55lbs
- Forklift and pallet jack experience a plus
- Safety conscious
