Manual Machinist role on 1st shift at Elliott Group’s Donora Service Center, focused on layout, set-up and machining of rotating equipment components. You’ll handle full shop machining work including rotor/diaphragm/seal/disk/casing machining and shaft grinding, with flexibility for off-shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime. Standout perk: occasional voluntary domestic travel to other Elliott locations.

The Donora Service Center is in search of a qualified manual machinist. The position requires off shifts availability, weekends and holidays. Occasional voluntary domestic travel opportunities to other Elliott locations.
To perform all the required layout, set-up, manual machining, subassembly, tool setting, deburring parts, broaching keyways, dimension checking, movement of parts materials and assemblies process. All shop machining works included but limited to the following: Machining rotors, Machining diaphragms, Machining seals, Machining disks, Machining Casings, and Grinding Shafts.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in manual machining or related, manual equipment including but not limited to Horizontal Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills, Grinders, and Drill Presses. Will consider candidates with less years of experience.
- CNC machining experience preferred, not required.
- High school diploma, GED, or Trade School experience desired, not required.
- Candidate must be willing & available to work off shifts, as well as flexibility to work weekends, holidays & overtime.
