Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician-Mechanical will engage in equipment maintenance to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production operations. This position will be involved with basic and advanced mechanical work as needed and as qualified. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment to ensure proper operation of machinery
  • Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues on equipment (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.)
  • Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance as well as review repair work orders and discuss TPM activities
  • Assist in training maintenance personnel as required
  • Accurately prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, including work orders, daily reports, etc.
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned
