As a Subcontract Manager within Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) you are accountable for Supply Chain Acquisition efforts for supporting programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, detail-orientated and assertive to develop and achieve acquisition and program objectives. The candidate will be responsible for strategically working capture/proposal efforts and implementing and managing subcontracts for program implementation. What You Will Do Perform procurement and supplier administration functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial (Domestic and International) subcontracts. Administer and manage high dollar FFP/Cost Type subcontracts from $10K to equal/greater $50M. Manage the overall sourcing and procurement activities from development through production and final contract close out. Manage tactical and strategic aspects of supplier relationships. Monitor and care for incoming supply of materials to fully support MRP and independent demand; includes interfacing with functional and internal support organizations, such as Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Engineering, Production Control, Operations and Material Program Managers, and Program Office. Develop supply chain strategies and alternatives. Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Perform risk analysis including identifying risks, opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plans. Lead the supplier organization team and be the focal point for subcontractor performance, including RFP generation, review adequacy of requirements flow-down; Development of negotiation plan and lead multi-functional negotiation teams; Negotiation of price, delivery, payments, and all contractual terms; Purchase Order placement and maintenance; Earned Value Management; Milestone monitoring and completion assessments; Trend analysis (as applicable). Perform Price and Cost Analysis. Serve as group level coordinator and program administrator for the High-Risk Supplier Management and Enterprise Supplier Risk Tool processes. Create and present presentations to key stakeholders. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. Experience working with Department of Defense supply chain procurement contracts and/or subcontracts. Experience working with FAR/DFAR U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer Six Sigma and productivity improvement experience. Experience awarding and managing Cost type subcontracts. SAP System experience. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
