Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join the 737 Manufacturing FA FD 2-3 2nd team in Renton Washington on 2nd shift. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, OR Manufacturing experience 3+ years of experience using the One Boeing Production System (BPS) OR use of Lean tools and principles 3+ years of experience using continuous improvement techniques Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience developing presentations for senior leadership 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading team 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
