Our client, a leader in renewable energy manufacturing, is seeking a Product Rework Inspector to join their team. As a Product Rework Inspector, you will be part of the Finished Goods Department supporting the solar energy sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $16.50/hr

Shift: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM

What's the Job?

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on solar panels following detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct back sheet and string connector repairs, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Verify repairs through reliability testing and document all repair activities comprehensively.
  • Prepare and set up tools and equipment at repair sites for efficient operations.
  • Operate tools such as soldering irons, cutters, and equipment like generators and voltage transformers during repair work.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or solar systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience in solar system repairs, electrical systems, or similar technical fields is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools and materials used in field repairs, as outlined in company SOPs.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety protocols and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company-provided or rental vehicles.
