GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide support to the US Navy

LOCATION

Pearl Harbor, HI

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficient in ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair ship machinery such as, auxiliary motors, pumps, valves, launchers, ventilation equipment, steering gear, evaporators, heaters, pumps, condensers. Able to read & understand blue print layout, assembly and installation required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Prospective employees should have a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Mechanic.
  • Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment
  • Prospective employees must be a US Citizen with a Clean Background and able to pass a Drug Screen
  • Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN). Able to hold and maintain a security clearance a plus.
  • Honolulu, HI residents preferred
  • Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment
  • High school diploma or GED equivalence
  • Ability to obtain DBIDS is required

Wage Range: $27.00-$44.80

In determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors; and geographic location.
