Principal Accountabilities

  • SAP and Inventory Management
  • Verification of ingredients movements systematically as well as written documentation
  • Collaborate with Operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary
  • Ensures adherence to Corporate, Regulatory and facility food safety and quality requirements
  • Stakeholder Development and Supervision
  • In the absence of the supervisor oversees the hourly material handlers on shift and ensures quality production is being achieved
  • Other projects
  • Assisting the plant in various projects relating to Safety, Food Safety, Regulatory, Environment, Process Improvement, Engagement, Training, etc

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, or other related field
  • 5+ Years previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience
  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Work history in the past 12 months
  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of HACCP
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
