OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join our growing, DNV-accredited stroke and neuroscience program.

  • Become part of a well-established neuroscience program within a Level I Trauma Center.

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgery, neurology, critical care, emergency medicine, and other key specialties.

  • Supported by four dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) aligned with the neurosurgery service.

  • Access an in-hospital outpatient clinic, allowing for seamless patient care and convenient access while on call.

  • Benefit from a strong referral network through OSF Medical Group and trusted community partners

Required Qualifications

  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois, or eligible for Illinois license.

  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference may be given to a Neurosurgeon with at least 2 years of practice experience

  • Collaborative experience with, or desire to work in practice with, Advanced Practice Providers (APNs and PAs)

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served

  • Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $565,155-$956,000.

    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
