What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment specific to sand and gravel plant operations.

  • Support troubleshooting of conveyors, crushers, screens, and other mechanical systems under guidance from experienced technicians.

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient production flow.

  • Help identify equipment issues and communicate findings to the maintenance team.

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong interest in developing mechanical skills and learning equipment used in sand and gravel plant operations.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.

  • Capability to perform physical tasks and work in varying environmental conditions.

  • Willingness to work collaboratively and take initiative in a training-focused role.

  • Reliable individual with problem-solving aptitude and effective communication skills.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on elevated surfaces as needed to perform maintenance duties.

  • Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment as required, including handling tools and components in various plant areas.

  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including extended periods of equipment inspection and movement across uneven or dusty terrain.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
