Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides the professional care necessary to achieve the goal of the Nuclear Imaging/Medicine/PET programs, for the diagnosing of mostly an adult and geriatric patient population of Mercy Hospital, in accordance with specific guidelines of practice. Maintaining a safe and efficient working Nuclear Imaging/Medicine/PET departments, that follows the ALARA program, minimizing the radiation exposure to self, staff, patients, physicians, and visitors.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
  • Associate Degree
  • (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
