We are looking for experienced, Nursery Practitioners / Nursery Assistant in the Dulwich, South London.

The role of the Nursery Practitioner / Assistant involves:

Being proactive whilst using your initiative throughout the working day to support the staff team.

Being a team player.

Caring for the children’s well-being.

Safeguarding the children and having their best interests at heart.

Educating the children in a play-based environment.

Fully engaging and interacting with the children whilst supporting their individual needs.

·Requirements:

Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 in Childcare)

Unqualified with a minimum of 6 months previous experience working in nursery or childcare settings

Be passionate about supporting children's development and learning

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Be flexible and adaptable to different nursery environments

Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

Have the ability to use their initiative

Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures

Be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Show a commitment to ongoing professional development

Be willing to travel up to 45 minutes from home

Have an up to date DBS check on the update system (or be willing to obtain one through Pertemps)
