East Cascade Women's Group is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled OBGYN Physician to join our team. The Physician will provide comprehensive overnight obstetric and gynecologic care, focusing on labor and delivery management, inpatient consultations, and emergency response. This role is integral to ensuring high quality patient outcomes and supporting a collaborative, patient centered care model.

Various models available including Full Scope, Hospitalist, or Nocturnist

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies.

  • Perform obstetric procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and operative vaginal deliveries.

  • Evaluate and manage acute gynecologic conditions and respond to OB/GYN emergencies.

  • Complete postpartum rounding and follow-up care for assigned patients.

  • Provide backup support to the hospital group as scheduled.

  • Respond to patient calls after office hours in accordance with practice protocols.

  • Collaborate closely with certified nurse midwives, nursing staff, and the broader care team to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

  • Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly within the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Licensure: Active Oregon MD/DO license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

  • Experience

    Minimum of one year experience in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting required; hospitalist experience preferred.

  • Skills

    Strong clinical judgment, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and strong commitment to teamwork.

  • Schedule will be based on needs of the group and includes rotation of weekends and holidays.
