Become part of a physician led 650+ provider multispecialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. The Oncology Hospitalist is responsible for management of the medical issues of the patients on the Oncology service.
The Oncology Hospitalist works closely with the ambulatory Medical Oncologists within the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute. A dedicated Oncology APP helps with notes and taking calls from the floor. On average,
there are 10-20 patients on the service. The expectation for a 1.0 FTE Oncology Hospitalist is 182 shifts a year. In addition to base pay, there is RVU production pay and a quality bonus component to compensation.
The scheduled for this full-time opportunity is 7 days on/7 days off with full-time APP support. There are no call responsibilities.
Support
: Dedicated 10-bed inpatient unit at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is supported currently by one other IM trained hospitalist and two full-time APPs. SARMC has the full complement of medical subspecialities and surgical subspecialities available for consultation and support.
