Job Description
Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic;
school physical exams, minor sports injuries, hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits .
Collaboration with Mid-Levels, center's medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary.

Long term contract role for a Locum Physician with The Locums Company, LLC at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, MO. The Locums Physician will work on-site to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients ages 16-24 years. Job Requirement:
Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri state
Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing basic medical procedures and prescribing medications
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus
Valid Federal DEA license
