Store - LA-SANTA ANA, CA Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop at our store and find what they’re looking for. Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed to deliver our Brand Promises. Event Coordination Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events. Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities. Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. Communicate events with clients and store team members. Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed. Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs. Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events. Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event. Customer Experience Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions. Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments. Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey. Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) Participate in the truck un-load, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes. Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned. execute Company policies and standards. project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production. Must have experience working with children and children’s events. Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
