About the role

We're looking for an experienced People Relations Advisor to join our People & Culture team. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with managers and leaders across the business, providing expert employee relations advice and helping to create a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

You'll be a trusted advisor on a wide range of people matters, supporting managers through employee relations cases, influencing leadership decisions, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex people challenges, and driving continuous improvement.

As a People Relations Advisor, you’ll:

· Provide expert advice and guidance on a broad range of employee relations matters.

· Manage a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and other people-related cases.

· Partner with managers and leaders to support effective people management and decision-making.

· Influence and challenge stakeholders to ensure consistent application of policy and best practice.

· Support the delivery of the People Relations strategy and contribute to wider People & Culture initiatives.

· Analyse case trends and people data to identify opportunities for improvement and proactive interventions.

· Develop strong relationships across the business to understand operational challenges and provide practical HR solutions.

· Deliver guidance, coaching and training to managers to enhance their people management capability.

· Support policy reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of people processes and documentation.

· Collaborate with colleagues across People & Culture to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.

Who we’re looking for:

We're interested in hearing from HR professionals who have:

· Significant experience in a People Relations, Employee Relations or HR Advisor role.

· Strong case management experience within a large, complex or multi-site organisation.

· Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

· Experience advising and influencing managers at all levels.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

· The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

· Experience producing high-quality HR documentation and correspondence.

· Strong organisational and administrative skills.

· CIPD qualification (full or part qualified) or equivalent experience.
