This is a part-time surgical opportunity for a Periodontist seeking predictable, well-supported clinical days that can be coordinated alongside an existing practice or professional commitments.

We support specialists who want to focus on patient care while delivering meaningful clinical impact. Candidates do not need to live locally; travel into El Paso is welcomed and supported.

Responsibilities


This role involves providing periodontal and implant surgical care across a range of case types. Same-day surgical care may be part of the practice model when clinically appropriate, alongside scheduled consults, follow-ups, and planned surgical procedures.
  • Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant disease
  • Provide full-scope periodontal and implant surgery, including:
    • Pocket reduction and osseous surgery
    • Soft-tissue grafting and flap procedures
    • Crown lengthening
    • Implant placement
    • Grafting and sinus augmentation when indicated
  • Manage a mix of surgical cases, consults, and follow-ups based on patient need
  • Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, and assistants to support efficient care delivery and case acceptance
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited Periodontics residency
  • Active Texas dental license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred
  • Experience providing periodontal and implant surgery in a clinical practice setting
  • Comfortable working within flexible scheduling models, including occasional same-day surgical care
