Provides direction to technicians using knowledge of established best practices
and workflow. Participates in training and competency assessment and acts as a
key contact for technicians. Performs functions of other technical staff in
support of the pharmacists that include dispensing, preparation and delivery of
pharmacy products, controlled substances and chemotherapy/Hazardous medication.
Monitors completion of medication outdate checking. Assists with monitoring
compliance to USP Chapters 795, 797 and 800. Analyzes information to solve
problems and proposes improvements to processes and practices as needed.
Participates in department quality improvement activities and other projects as
assigned. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and
implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports
and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients
and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
Full-time | 80 hours per two weeks
Days/Evenings | Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm or 3pm-11:30pm
Pay and Benefits:
Starting pay begins at $26.22 per hour and increases with experience
Pay range: $26.22-39.32 per hour

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3 years Minimum experience as a pharmacy technician required.
