In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents, helping them achieve their mobility and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and compassionate support.
Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapist.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred.
- CPR certification is a plus.
