Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Outpatient experience required. Must demonstrate competency with evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and functional treatment planning. Experience with documentation in electronic medical records, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry, preferred. Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and students, and to participate in student education when assigned. Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Connecticut State Practice Act. Adherence to organizational safety practices including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety.
