Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license required prior to start of assignment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, with outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Demonstrated competency with outpatient evaluations, treatment plan development, goal writing, and documentation including letters of medical necessity. Experience with functional outcome measures and charge entry in electronic medical records preferred. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide student mentorship when assigned. Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education.
