Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Inpatient experience required. Experience with acute care hospital workflows preferred. Clinical experience with common acute diagnoses such as post-operative care, stroke, orthopedic injury, and mobility/functional training preferred. Demonstrated ability to document in electronic medical records. Experience with hospital EMR systems preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and provide discharge planning support. Reliable professional references required.
