Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Current, active Physical Therapy license for the state of Florida required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting. Experience communicating treatment plans and progress to medical teams, including in-house and specialty physicians such as orthopedic and hand surgeons. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy team and provide assistance to colleagues in identifying patient issues. Preferred: Previous outpatient clinic travel experience and familiarity with common orthopedic modalities and therapeutic exercise progression.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Duration: 9 week assignment. Schedule: Monday through Friday work pattern as noted in client behavioral characteristics. Patient Population: Outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload.
