Island Health Cardiology is looking to hire a full-time Cardiology physician assistant to join their expanding cardiology practice at Island Health.

Cardiology services have been in the Anacortes community for over twenty years; this is a unique opportunity to be part of establishing a new cardiology practice at Island Health. Seeking someone with a passion for serving a rural community to join a passionate and patient-centered medical staff working to improve the health and wellness for the entire community of Anacortes. In this role, you will work with a team of APPs and physicians, allowing for growth and leadership opportunities. Duties will include but not limited to stress labs, inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic. Work in close proximity to multiple specialties in a rural community hospital.

Position Details:

  • 4-day work week
  • Integrated Meditech Expanse EMR platform, utilized throughout the organization
  • 1:4 inpatient call coverage
  • Work closely with cohesive, multi-specialty group providers with support staff

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation is between $121,464 and $148,456 per year
  • Sign-on bonus of $10,000
  • Competitive base salary guarantee, sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, and productivity incentives the first year of employment
  • Comprehensive benefits package; medical benefits, retirement plan, CME allowance, malpractice coverage

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Washington State Physician Assistant license license
  • Experience is preferred
