Family Medicine Physician role with hospitalist coverage for Essentia Health, working primarily in a new state-of-the-art Grand Rapids clinic with periodic hospitalist stretches at Deer River Hospital. You’ll join a physician-led team being built out (4 MDs/4 NPs) with flexible 0.6–1.0 FTE and minimal call burden (no evening clinic phone call). PRACTICE SPECIFICS
We are building a team of 4 MD's and 4 Nurse Practitioners to inhabit a new, 24 exam room, state-of-the-art facility.
Our Grand Rapids team works in close collaboration with existing Deer River team (20 minutes away).
Physician led practice
Evening, clinic phone call - ZERO!
Hospitalist Call: Approximately, 1 week, every 6 weeks. Hospitalists serve as backup after ER docs.
Clinic work in Grand Rapids.
Hospitalist work done at Essentia Health, Deer River Hospital; a modern, 20 bed, Critical Access Hospital with 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage.
Hospitalist Coverage: 3-4 day stretch, every 6 weeks - done in Deer River.
Additional opportunities include; colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests and EGD's.

COMPENSATION
$323,400. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
