Hospitalist - Float Pool
System Wide Essentia Health is seeking exceptional hospitalists to join our System-Wide Float Pool. This hospitalist will primarily travel the North Country, providing needed care "Close to Home!"
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
Ideal candidates should be flexible team players, willing to address complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative environment. Join a team of nearly 100+ hospitalists, including physicians and NP/PAs. Enjoy great flexibility with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts, typically following a 7/7 schedule for 24 weeks per year. Mileage/rental car and lodging (if desired) are reimbursed for travel from Primary Location. Procedures are not required. Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire Essentia system. Short-term, vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia. Additional training supplied if necessary. Dedicated nocturnist teams.
COVERAGE LOCATIONS Essentia Health - Virginia, MN 30-bed, Level IV Trauma Center. Currently undergoing a $13 million upgrade to its emergency department. Located 60 minutes from Duluth.
St. Joseph's Medical Center - Brainerd, MN 133-bed, Level II Trauma Center. Located in Fargo, ND
St. Mary's Hospital - Detroit Lakes, MN 36-bed, Level III Trauma Center. Awarded "Top 20 Rural Hospital in the Nation!" 45 miles East of Fargo

COMPENSATION
$402,575. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
