Were seeking a passionate and driven Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Academic Internal Medicine clinic located within our Trinity Health Grand Rapids hospital
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care in a residency-based clinic setting
  • Position is Full Time, a 0.9 FTE; clinical FTE with no required precepting time required
  • Our Grand Rapids campus offers:
    • Adult health care
    • General medical exams and yearly physicals
    • Treatment of acute illnesses, such as respiratory infections or skin infections
    • Immunizations
    • Minor surgical procedures (stitches, lesions, etc.)
    • Online scheduling and video visits available
  • Office is open Monday - Friday, 8-5pm
  • Unrestricted call rotated with all outpatient internal medicine physicians
  • Office has 2 RNs, 4 MAs, 8 triage nurses, 2 BOCs, care manager and pharmacy available
  • Call is shared between physicians within the medical group
  • Very close knit team of all physicians with a collaborative and supportive environment

Requirements

  • Open to new grads
  • Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
