TRC has partnered with a leading North American manufacturer of wire, cable, and electrical solutions serving residential, commercial, industrial, and utility markets. Looking to hire a Plant Controller to join their team!
Fully Onsite
Contract to Hire
Regular working hours 8-5pm
Key Responsibilities
Lead the monthly financial close process for the plant, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
Manage the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.
Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including detailed variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
Perform and review account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
Partner with plant operations to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred but not required).
Experience in manufacturing accounting or plant finance required.
Strong knowledge of month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Experience with account reconciliations; BlackLine experience is preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
SAP experience preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
