Overview: A full-time plumber at Six Flags Darien Lake is responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing plumbing systems across the entire park—including rides, water park, campground, and facilities. This is a year-round, hands-on skilled trade position supporting park operations and guest safety. Signing Bonus Available!
Position begins at $23.00
Free admission to Darien Lake and other Six Flags locations Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain: Water supply systems
Drainage and wastewater systems
Pipes, fixtures, and plumbing equipment Perform preventive maintenance on: Water rides
Boilers, sinks, bathrooms, drains
Grease traps, lift stations, and gas systems Diagnose and fix issues: Leaks, clogs, pressure problems
Pipe damage and system failures Use tools and techniques such as: Cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes
Working with materials like steel, plastic, and brass Read and interpret: Blueprints
Schematics and technical manuals Maintain inventory and order parts when needed
Ensure all work meets: Plumbing codes
Health and safety regulations Keep work areas clean and safe
Interact with: Staff, supervisors, vendors, and sometimes park guests Qualifications: Requirements / Qualifications 2–4+ years of plumbing experience
(Journeyman-level preferred)
Knowledge of: Plumbing codes
Fire systems and water systems Ability to: Read blueprints and technical documents
Troubleshoot and solve problems Valid driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
