Job Summary
- Assemble, inspect, document and test simple and complex assemblies
- Places parts in specified relationship to each other
- Bolts, clips, screws, cements or otherwise fastens parts together
- Tends manual machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line
- Works at different work stations as production needs require
- Works on a line where tasks vary as different models of the same article moves along the line
- Follow policies and procedures; supports organization's goals and values
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
