JOB SUMMARY
This position supports the Press Brake Shipping Department. The employee will perform quality inspection of parts prior to shipment, perform pre-shipment functions, basic machine operation, warehouse work, and inventory work.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect parts thoroughly to ensure quality and print specifications are met by using measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
  • Assembles various piece parts as necessary
  • Laser mark products
  • Coatings
  • Operate basic machines
  • Operate forklifts
  • Move product in and out of warehouse by motorized or non-motorized equipment
  • Administrative work such as working on the computer or filing
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repetitive lifting
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, typing, 10 key, and internet navigation
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Must have high energy, be flexible, and have ability to take initiative
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices preferred
  • Strong attention to detail required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
