Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for the review and inspection of products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company, and ISO 9001 requirements. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of quality control and standards, and ISO requirements. Kooltronic Inc is an ISO 9001:2015 registered designer and manufacturer of refrigeration, heat transfer, and air moving equipment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 3:30pm (full-time)

Responsibilities

• Inspection of receiving, shipping, in-process, and finished products.
• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Internal auditing of processes and procedures, generation of non-conformance or discrepancy reports, supplier corrective action, and audit reports.
• Communicate regularly with Quality Assurance Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Production Supervisor, and Line Leads.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing quality assurance and inspection experience.
• Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems, measuring instruments, calibration of production tooling, and electronic devices.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 standards. Certification of quality control is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel/Word applications.

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field is a plus, but not required.
