Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Quality Requirements Engineering and Compliance Advisor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that processes and deliverables for mission-critical FAA systems meet defined quality standards. This position works closely with engineers, developers, and program managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.

In this position, you will:

  • Understand, establish and maintain requirements traceability across program teams.
  • Assess and monitor supplier quality.
  • Assist program teams with identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support program team risk assessments.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the ISO 9001 standard and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 5 years with Ph.D.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of quality frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISO 9001:2015 requirements certification
  • Experience supporting FAA or aviation-related systems.
  • Experience assessing suppliers for contractual compliance, reliability, and quality.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
