**This position is located in Charleston, South Carolina**

The Opportunity:

  • Proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to support a large-scale training effort and broader modernization initiatives.
  • Will support implementation and application training activities associated with the Marine Corps' legacy medical software and modernization efforts while enabling program growth.
  • Will support the Naval Information Warfare Center and Program Executive Office Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO-MLB) leadership.
  • Provide focused, Subject Matter Expert medical / clinical training to operational and non-operational staffs aboard their platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional training in support of Marine Corps patient management related software.
  • Work closely with technical team to implement, configure, and deploy maintenance versions of the Theater Medical Information Program Marine Corps (TMIP-MC) Family of Systems (Fos) and JOMIS Modernization application products.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the projects' training curriculum, lesson plans, and decommissioning strategy for conversion to the JOMIS Modernization Implementation Plan.
  • Consult with leadership and end users to assess and evaluate training needs. Also, provide clear directions to end users pertaining to the purpose of providing astute feedback via surveys and other learning methods.
  • Develop and present in-person and on-demand, learning content and materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program to measure overall progress and effectiveness and recommend alternative training strategies for consideration.
  • Assist the technical team, with the updating or developing user training manuals.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing support of the help desk team.
  • Provide administrative support to internal/external stakeholders as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Six (6) years of hands-on experience with task specific projects, to include three (3) of the (4) following areas: Training, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, and Test & Evaluation.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Experience in public speaking and/or presentation skills.
  • Curriculum and/or documentation development experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and administrative skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date.
  • Ability to relocate to the Charleston metropolitan area.
  • Requires 2 years of hands-on AHLTA/ALHTA-T, Win11 Software experience, strong Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written/oral), attention to detail, and time management.
  • The member should be eligible to obtain an International Passport and/or required VISAs.
  • The member must be able to pass all medical and dental physical screening requirements.
  • Strong organizational and logistics skills. These skills are vital to navigating international travel requirements i.e. scheduling hotels, transportation and communication with unit points of contact.

  • Former Navy Medicine active duty/Reserves (with Fleet Marine Force) experience, preferred.
  • Other Branches of Service with clinical, medical administrative, information technology, and/or training experience is acceptable.
