Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. The Cleanroom Quality Control Technician is responsible to ensure that all final packaging aligns with the traveler operation sheet and meets the customers' requirements listed on the purchase order.

$20 - $24/hr DOE

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Verifies that traveler matches identification on customers' containers/product.
  • Perform a visual packaging inspection on all finished hardware to ensure all labeling has the correct information and no punctures, F.O.D, or any damage is present.
  • Verify all operations within the traveler and documentation are correctly signed off.
  • Package hardware with proper dunnage to prevent damage during transit.
  • Assist with Cleanroom Technicians needs, such as supplies and labels to prevent the halt on production.
  • Work hand in hand with the Cleanroom Production Planner and Receiving Inspector to operate a productive workflow of incoming and outgoing hardware in an organized and timely manner.

Skills / Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
  • Must be able to converse with the Technicians in a calm manner when issues arise.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematics, i.e. add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to count parts and reconcile against travelers.
  • Shall have basic knowledge of database software, Microsoft office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
  • Capable to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
