Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production.

Responsibilities


  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
  • Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.
  • Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.

Qualifications


  • High School Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experience
  • Ability to analyze information
  • Ability to report research results
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to use measurement equipment
  • Basic computer skills
