The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and driving all aspects of quality assurance across AMAX's hardware manufacturing and system integration operations. This role ensures that AI servers, GPU-based systems, and data center solutions meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
  • Define quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operations
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes for servers, storage systems, and rack-level builds
  • Monitor production quality metrics (yield, defect rates, rework, RMA trends)
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Support supplier quality activities, including incoming inspection, supplier corrective actions, and quality performance monitoring
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and escalations
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
  • Support customer audits and quality reviews
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in quality management within hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Experience with root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing of servers, storage systems, or similar hardware

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI/HPC systems or data center hardware
  • Knowledge of supplier quality and global supply chain operations
  • Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)

The salary range offered for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience and skill set.
